Let's Bike it!

6 September 2015. NANR will participate in Moscow Bike parade. Everyone is welcome to join and promote cycling culture in Moscow.

Remember your time in the Netherlands when you could easily bike to your university and admire this way of travelling! Now since you are back in Moscow you can hardly use the bicycle every day, so take the chance to bike around Moscow at least one day per year – on the Day of Moscow. To make it more fun we ask everyone to think of an orange costume. It can be anything from a hat or sun glasses to entire suit - let your imagination out. The owner of the best costume will receive a prize from NANR.

We will cycle through the city and finish the day with a nice picnic in a park. Come and bring your orange mood and enthusiasm!

Time: 12:00

Meeting place: we will meet at the Worker and Kolkhoz Woman monument, next to “I love Moscow” stele. We will wait for everyone for 15 minutes and then will cycle to the main meeting point at Ostankinsky proezd.

Outfit: Dress up in orange!

Bikes: you can bring your own bikes, use city rental service Velobike or use any other convenient bike rentals. Please, be aware that you can take only foldable bikes on the metro.

Route: 25 km, starting from VDNKH and ending at Krasnaya Presnya Park.

Rules: please, carefully read the rules of the parade on the official website, and in VKontakte and Facebook groups.

If you want to participate in this event, please register by clicking "Join" buttone bellow. We will contact all the registered participants to inform about the details. In the meantime you can check the pictures from the last year parade.

Please, note that NANR is not responsible for the organization of the event and any damages which can happen with participants during the Bike Day. The Bicycle’s parade is organized by the transportation department of Moscow and Let’s bike it project.
