Embassy of the Netherlands in Moscow and NANR are proud to invite NANR members to join the evening talk with Ambassador, Renée Jones-Bos and journalist Peter D’Hamecourt.
The format of the event is inspired by College Tour, Dutch TV show that interviews the most high-profile Dutch and international guest. During this evening a famous Dutch journalist Peter D’Hamecourt will interview the Ambassador about her career as a diplomat, current work in Russia and plans for future.
You are encouraged to actively participate in the discussion and address your questions to the Ambassador. But be ready to answer the questions from the Ambassador as well! This event will be a great opportunity to share opinions in informal atmosphere.
Programme of the evening
Renée Jones-Bos has been the Netherlands Ambassador to Russia since 2016. Previously, Jones-Bos was Ambassador to the United States in Washington and Secretary-General at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in The Hague. Renée Jones-Bos served as the (Deputy) Director-General for Regional Policy and Consular Affairs from 2003 to 2008 and as Ambassador-at-Large for Human Rights from 2000 to 2003.
Peter D’Hamecourt - Dutch journalist and correspondent at NOS News who worked for almost 20 years in Russia, former Soviet countries, Middle East and South America. Besides his journalistic work, he published the number of political books, including his latest one “In het spoor van de Russische ziel. Dostojevski tussen Europa en Rusland”.
