The NANR Alumni Boards are made up of groups of proactive alumni that contribute to the development of NANR activities and connect alumni of Dutch universities in various Russian cities.
The Board members rotate every two years. The current set of boards began their terms in January 2015. Board members undergo annual training with Dutch professionals.
Currently, there are two active boards in Moscow and St. Petersburg. They meet regularly to brainstorm and discuss NANR activities in their cities. Board members are involved in planning the events programme, inviting speakers and assisting on the day of the event itself.
Alternatively you are welcome to become a NANR representative in your own city. We expect you to organise at least one event in your city during the year. It can be a social outing (e.g. a borrel, or a movie evening), a cultural get together (e.g. a lecture on Dutch culture, history) or a professional gathering (a lecture or workshop on a business related topic). Of course, you are more than welcome to bring your own ideas. NANR will help you with promotion and promotional materials, as well as contacting potential speakers and attendees.
Why become a NANR Board member / NANR representative:
- to be abreast of all activities and shape them
- to have great networking opportunities (firsthand access to all speakers)
- to develop organisational skills
This is all in addition to the general benefits of being a NANR member.
At the moment we are looking for:
- board members for the Moscow Board
- alumni who would like to set up a board in Russian cities other than Moscow and St. Petersburg
